The Rajasthan government is gearing up to organize a first-of-its-kind International Expo to provide a boost to the state’s export segment. The expo will be organized in Jodhpur, which is the cultural reservoir of the state, in March 2023.
With this expo, the state administration is eyeing the enhancement of its export segment and matching the growth rate of the states (i.e. Gujarat, Maharashtra) which excel in the respective field.
Meetings to be held for the organization of the International Expo 2023
Before the expo begins, an orchestration meeting will take place on November 7 in Jodhpur. Furthermore, the meeting will be held at the same venue where the expo is to be hosted.
Moreover, meetings will also be held under the ‘Mission Niryatak Bano’ scheme, during which the district collectors will be guided regarding the measures to boost exports.
What is the Mission Niryatak Bano scheme of Rajasthan govt.?
The Mission Niryatak Bano (Be an exporter) scheme was launched by the Rajasthan Industries Department back in July, 2021. The objectives of the scheme include:

Promoting local manufacturers who wish to export their products in international markets.

Providing mentorship to the local manufacturers and guiding them regarding the technical aspects of the export licensing procedure.

Connecting manufacturers with the Rajasthan Export Promotion Council (REPC).
