The DIG Office in Kanpur is all set to welcome an addition to its environment. As per reports, a new bird park will come up at the entrance of the office building, assuring a refreshing echo of chirping and twittering. The latest development along the premises of the office complex would provide for a calming experience amidst the stress of the police department’s exhausting routines. A social organisation called Parivartan has already initiated the construction work for the park.
From food to nests, all arrangements being made for the facility of birds
In recent times, the empty ground around the office campus was converted into an unauthorized parking space. The land was completely cluttered by a good number of two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles. But with the announcement of the new park project, the ground would be developed into a thriving bird park.
The Deputy Inspector General of the police department has roped in the social group Parivartan for developing the park. A representative from Parivartan said that there are plans to develop the park into a home for a wide variety of birds. Additionally, the park would also house a range of flowering plants and a fountain for the birds. There are plans to set up nests across the park for facilitating the bird types that reside in nests. In addition to this, Parivatan would also make arrangements for food depending on the species of birds that find a home in the park.
Foundation stone for the park laid on Republic Day
Reportedly, the representative from Parivartan also asserted that the entire office complex would resound with a fresh blossom of bird tweets. The foundation stone for the park was laid by the DIG himself on January 26. It is anticipated that given the continuous efforts, the park would be ready by the end of the month.
