Advancing connectivity between Lucknow and Gorakhpur, new airline services are all set to be launched between the two cities of Uttar Pradesh. Proposed to be introduced by Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India, these flight shall be functional from March 28, reducing the travel time between the two districts to almost one hour. Being initiated to ease commute between the two regions, this upgraded means of travel shall benefit the regular travellers the most.
Flight to provide an easy & comfortable option to frequent commuters
As per the current plans, the flight would begin its journey from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport at 3:30 PM and land at Gorakhpur Airport at 4:30 PM. On its way from Gorakhpur, the flight will take off at 2:00 PM, reaching Lucknow at 3:00 PM. As per sources, the ticket fare for initial bookings in this vehicle stands at ₹1,901.
With the execution of these flight, extended efforts of the air travel authorities shall be materialised. After multiple developments were witnessed in Gorakhpur, the number of commuters between the state capital and the city has increased drastically. While these travellers opt for trains or buses currently, the new alternative of flight shall provide an easy and comfortable means of transport. In addition to this, reports state the authorities are also deliberating upon the introduction of new flights from Lucknow to Jaipur, Srinagar and Guwahati.
Growing traffic at the Lucknow Aiport
With the initiation of new flights, Lucknow Airport is all set to host increased traffic in the near future. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the airport complex caters to a large number of national and international passengers. Given the progressive deployment of new vehicles connecting the state capital to different cities across the country, the airport is expected to soon evolve as one of the busiest hubs in the country.
