Bollywood’s upcoming movie ‘Bhakshak’ starring Bhumi Pednekar recently called for a pack-up after a successful 39-day single shoot schedule in Lucknow. While the screenplay is based in Bihar, the principal photography of this Red Chillies Entertainment production was completed in Lucknow, from start to end, in record time. Inspired by true events, ‘Bhakshak’ scripts the story of a journalist played by Pednekar, and her quest to justice.

The daunting tale of ‘Bhakshak; has been co-written by Pulkit and Jyotsana Nath, to bring the story of Bhumi’s character and her perseverance in bringing a heinous crime to light. Essaying the role of a journalist, Pednekar will face threats, intimidation to quickly realise the consequences of a story that will unveil as the plot thickens.

Actors Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava and Sai Tamhankar will be seen playing key roles alongside Bhumi Pednekar, in the Pulkit Nath directorial, added reports. Notably, Pulkit has earlier directed the biographical web series ‘Bose: Dead or Alive’ starring Bhumi’s ‘Badhaai Do’ co-star Rajkummar Rao.
