The CA Helping Hand Foundation in Lucknow, a network of young CA’s against the perils of COVID-19, is calling out for your support. The outfit seeks your strength to build a longer chain of COVID-19 aid, a link that can cage the spread of woes amid the grave hours.
The accountants of ‘Corona Aid’
A bunch of young Chartered Accountants across Lucknow have established a channel of volunteers, to help COVID-19 patients and their families. Moved by the horrors of this pandemic, this organisation aims to provide corona-aid to all those who are not able to arrange for such resources timely. The foundation functions as a connecting link between the needy and supplies or those who can provide said supplies, to ensure COVID-19 treatment for all.
The CA Helping Hand Foundation came into force in April when the second swell of COVID infection raged a tremor, leaving people in a frenzy for beds, oxygen, medicines and injections. These CAs then got together to create a relief association that could be accessed easily by the needy for any COVID-19 support. The group then sought a solution, amid their local network of CAs and associates, and extend the required help to the patient or their family.
In the short period since its inception, the CA Helping Hand Foundation has been able to relay plasma resources, medicines and other such corona relief supplies to the pandemic-stricken. It has also constituted a panel of over 10 doctors that facilitate teleconsultation to the patients, regarding coronavirus and otherwise. Besides clinical help, they have also started to distribute 100 packets of free cooked meals every day, to those in need. The big team of spirited individuals is led by CA Rahul Verma, CA Raveesh Choudhary, CA Akash Agarwal, CA Rohit Singh, CA Bharat Mandhyani and CA Vidit Seth, amongst others.

Helping Hand Foundation works on the simple framework of contacts. More the people, greater the contact database- which would further mean an increased scope of help. Until now, the foundation was working with a local group of known associates and now intends to give a formal structure to this society. People from all walks of life are encouraged to come forward and join hands with them to extend aid to those who are suffering at the hand of the ferocious COVID-19 infection.
The volunteers here are guided by the motto of Kartavya Karm Nishtha, which translates to ‘responsibility, action, dedication’ and the organisation solicits people to imbibe this spirit too. They do not require donations and monetary supplies; they need more hands to widen the range of help and reach out to maximum people in the city as well as the state.
