CCS Airport station of Lucknow Metro enters Limca Book of Records

As per the UPMRC officials, the CCS station was established in a period of 19 months and 10 days.

Adding yet another feather to its shining cap of glory, UPMRC has recently entered the Limca Book of Records for constructing the fastest underground metro station. Lucknow Metro's, CCS Airport station has been recognised as the fastest-built metro station by the Limca Book of Records. As per the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation, the CCS station was established in the period of 19 months and 10 days.


Yet another achievement for Lucknow Metro!

Notably, the maiden corridor of Lucknow Metro consists of four underground stations and the CCS Airport station is one of them. It stands connected with the domestic and international terminals of the Lucknow Airport, ensuring benefits for a large count of commuters.

Lucknow Metro, the fastest commissioned facility in the nation

Completing the interventions along the entire stretch of its maiden corridor in a record time of 4.5 years, Lucknow Metro became the fastest commissioned facility in the country. With the start of operations on March 8, 2019, Lucknow Metro has successfully revamped the local transport network in the city. Ushering ease of intra-city travel for the locals, this local transit system has witnessed a ridership of over 3.25 crore individuals till now.

India to resume International commercial air services from December 15!

Notably, the passenger air services were suspended in March 2020, owing to the outbreak of COVID

After a gap of about twenty months, India is all set to resume international passenger air services from December 15, 2021, informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Friday. Additionally, as per the revised guidelines issued by the Union Health Ministry passengers need to submit 14 days travel details and upload a negative RT-PCR test report on Air Suvidha Portal before the journey. This announcement comes in time Omicron strain of COVID has been identified in South Africa recently.

Central Railway to start 12 AC local trains on Mumbai's Harbour line from Dec 1

The new AC train services will operate between Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Panvel railway station

Starting Wednesday, 12 new air-conditioned suburban trains will be added to the existing local fleet of Central Railways on the Harbour line.
