At a recent meeting of the Mango Export Core Committee, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob laid out a new plan to boost Dussehri’s reach. From airports to bus stands, hotels to e-commerce platforms, Dussehri counters with free canopies will soon pop up across major Indian cities. The goal is to make sure that no mango lover is left behind this season.
And here’s the sweet twist, exporters will now team up with Farmer Producer Organisations to ensure farmers benefit directly. Four big cities outside Uttar Pradesh are already being targeted for Dussehri domination.
