Lucknowites, gear up for the most-loved annual Flower Exhibition at Governor House, the dates of which are out now! The exhibition is all set to take place from February 6 to 8, next year. The wide variety of flora at the exhibition attracts people from all over the city, making this an event suitable for people of all age groups.
Competition to be organised on multiple levels

Apart from showcasing a plethora of fascinating flowers, the exhibition displays a wide range of fruits and vegetables as well. A visual delight for the visitors, this exhibition will also include a total of 63 competitions. Spanning across multiple categories, this competition will be organised amongst personal, government, semi-government and public park groups. In each category, the best gardens will be awarded first, second and third prizes.
Gardens covering an area of 100 sq meter to 1000 sq meter can take part in the personal category. Meanwhile, there are 17 different categories where amateurs can participate. While house gardens can register for this event by paying ₹50, bigger gardens will be charged ₹100 for registration.
Gardens in Lucknow amping up preparation for the competition!
The Sibtainabad garden near Parivartan Chowk along with gardens in Bara Imambara and Chota Imambara are also gearing up for this upcoming competition. Lucknow Municipal Corporation is also working in gardens across Mahanagar and Indira Nagar area to get an award in this competition. As per officials, the registration for these competitions will begin in January and the final result will be declared during the Flower Show.
