In view of the VVIP movement that is set to take place in Lucknow tomorrow, no vehicle will be allowed on Shaheed Path on March 25. Many dignitaries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and other leaders will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Yogi Adityanath at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium this Friday. To ensure smooth vehicular movement for these VVIPs, the administration plans to halt all the regular traffic on this route from 6 AM to 10 PM or till the end of the event.

According to reports, only those vehicles that are entering the city for this mega oath-taking ceremony will be allowed to pass through Shaheed Path tomorrow. Trucks, trailers and other commercial vehicles of the general public will have to divert from Kisan Path and other routes to reach Lucknow. Notably, Lucknow Police has issued a separate diversion route to ensure no one faces any inconvenience with the closure of this facility.
Airport authority issues advisory for passengers

Apart from the closure of Shaheed Path, usual traffic on various places on the designated route starting from the airport will also be disturbed due to multiple VIP and VVIP movements tomorrow. The authority at Lucknow Airport has issued an advisory for all the passengers travelling to the airport tomorrow. As per the guidelines, passengers must leave early for the airport to avoid missing their flight as traffic will be stopped on the route for VIP vehicles.
In addition to this, the first lane of the airport’s domestic terminal has been reserved for VVIP and VIP vehicles and their escort security. The second lane will also be occupied by the officials from the administration and other departments to welcome the supporters of political parties and politicians and VIP guests. As a consequence, passengers coming from private vehicles or cabs can only take the third lane.
Meanwhile, special security personnel have been deployed at the airport to ensure that passengers do not face any problems. If you have to catch a flight from Lucknow tomorrow, you should simply take the metro to save your time.
