As the 2025 UP Board Exams approach, the Uttar Pradesh Board is stepping up its security measures to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. In Lucknow, where 1,03,778 candidates are expected—an increase of 1,961 from the previous year—comprehensive anti-cheating strategies are being put into place.
Measures for cheating-free exams
The UP Board has implemented stringent measures-

24×7 CCTV surveillance: Each exam centre will be equipped with two CCTV cameras, streaming live footage to control rooms, and key offices for real-time 24×7 monitoring.

Double-lock strong rooms: Question papers will be securely stored in double-lock strong rooms, with keys held by college principals and Static Magistrates.

Flying squads: Surprise inspections will be conducted by flying squads to ensure exam integrity.

Night surveillance: Dedicated teams will monitor exam centres overnight to prevent any discrepancies.

These changes aim to eliminate cheating and ensure a secure, transparent exam environment. With more than 54 lakh students registered across Uttar Pradesh, these measures will help the Board uphold its commitment to fair assessments.
