To tackle this issue, the BMC has planned a ₹504 crore project — a Multi-level Robotic Parking Tower (MRPT). Featuring the construction of 4 multi-level parking towers across the city, the project aims to combat Mumbai’s parking crisis.

According to reports, the one being planned at Worli will be the biggest of the four parking towers in Mumbai. These upcoming parking towers will be robotic in function and it will not take more than 3 minutes for motorists to park their vehicles, that too at a minimal fee.
Moreover, the rising demand means that the city needs more parking spots and projects like these are vital to achieve that. As of now, the contract for constructing these towers has been awarded and the work is scheduled to begin soon.
