Following the stream of extended festive rush during Velankanni festival from August 29 to September 8, 2023, Western Railways (WR) has announced to run a Special Train no. 09041, between Bandra and Velankanni.
On it’s long journey the train will make halts at Borivali, Vasai, Panvel, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Wadi, Raichur, Guntakal, Cuddapah, Renigunta, Katpadi, Vellore Cantt., Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Thiruvarur and Nagappattinam Station. The schedule of the train is as follows:
Train no. 09041 Bandra Terminus – Velankanni:

Train no. 09042 Velankanni – Bandra Terminus:

Further, WR will also be extending trips of Train No. 05054/53 on a special fair basis, to handle passenger ruses.
