A total of 9 busy railway stations in Mumbai have been earmarked to get significant upgrades. Advanced commercial and office spaces will be constructed either above or around these stations, depending on the space available.
All the nine stations selected for upgrade are part of the Mumbai rail network and these will be redeveloped to cope with the increasing passengers footfall.

Here’s the list of railway stations in Mumbai, set for an upgrade:

All of these stations either have elevated decks or vacant spaces that will be utilised for the redevelopment. Notably, Mulund, Khar Road, GTB Nagar, and Bhayandar stations have elevated decks while Neral, Mankhurd, Kasara, Dombivli, and Bhandup stations have vacant spaces, awaiting usage.
