India’s number 2, Sasikumar Mukund got off to a flying start to beat USA’s Oliver Crawford in straight sets to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Open ITF $25K Men’s International Tennis tournament at Ekana stadium in Lucknow.
The other Indians in the quarter finals, Karan Singh and Siddharth Vishwakarma were knocked out by Russia’s Evgeny Donkoy and Vietnam’s Nam Hoang Ly, respectively. Moving on, Mukund will face Evgeny Donkoy in the semi-final, which is scheduled to be played on March 25.
