Ahmedabad has witnessed a noticeable rise in temperatures as a new western disturbance has altered wind patterns across Gujarat. The shift from northwesterly to northeasterly winds has led to an increase of 2 – 5°C in minimum temperatures across most cities, including Ahmedabad.
On the 12th of February, Ahmedabad recorded a maximum temperature of 32.5°C, which is 2.3°C above normal, while the minimum surged to 17.5°C, marking a sharp 3.5°C increase from the previous day’s 14°C. The rising temperatures have led to a summer-like feel during the day, with afternoons becoming noticeably warmer. However, early mornings remain cool, creating a mixed-season effect where the city experiences both winter and summer-like weather simultaneously.
For the 13th of February, Ahmedabad is likely to see a maximum temperature of around 33°C and a minimum of 18°C, with an overall warming trend continuing throughout the week.
