BCCI recently rolled out the schedule for India’s home series and two matches are slated to take place in Ahmedabad. The series will begin January 3, 2023 onwards and will include a series of matches in the T20I, ODI and Test formats.

India’s home series will consist of a total of 19 matches against Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Australia. Of these, 2 matches will be organized in Ahmedabad. The first match in the city will be the 3rd T20I of the New Zealand Tour of India series, and will see India battle it out against New Zealand on February 1.
After this, the city will also host another important game, i.e. the 4th Test match between India and Australia between March 9-13. This match of the Australia Tour of India series will also be a part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship that will determine the finalist for the tournament.
