Nestled on the city’s Billionaire Street, this 15,000-square-foot haven is the brainchild of mother-son duo Rita and Vraj Patel. They wanted to bring the renowned Belgian chocolate culture to India, and boy, have they succeeded!
About the founder duo!
Vraj Patel, was raised in Antwerp, Belgium, and noticed the increasing demand for Belgian chocolates whenever he visited India. What began as a small passion project quickly blossomed into a large venture with the help of three-Michelin-starred chef Jonathan Gallet.
Gallet’s vast experience in global kitchens has greatly influenced the creations at Cacaoté, which includes an impressive selection of bonbons, petite gateaux, pralines, bars, cookies, macarons, and cakes.

Cacaoté is not just about chocolate; it’s about an entire experience. The use of local Indian ingredients like chai masala, gulkand, and fennel introduces a unique, nostalgic twist to the chocolates. These flavours blend beautifully with the classic Belgian chocolate craftsmanship, setting this place apart in India’s growing chocolate scene. Rita’s personal favourites include pralines with hazelnuts and a Dubai-inspired chocolate made with knafeh and pistachios.

There’s a live kitchen where you can watch the art of chocolate-making unfold, and the chic brasserie offers a comfy and stylish spot to relax. The design is understated yet luxurious, with chocolate-inspired details and Italian counters that keep everything fresh.
Beyond chocolates, Cacaoté offers an assortment of dishes to complement your visit. From Garden Salad and Soft Shell Tacos to Truffle Mushroom Rice and Veg Pho, there’s something for everyone. And the beverages menu includes, Spanish Lattes, Cold Brew & Tonic, Black Truffle Lattes, and more.
