SandwichworkZ is the creation of Himanshu and Takshashila Desai, a foodie husband-and-wife team who started the place in 2012. In a conversation with Knocksense, Mrs Desai shared that they started with a dream of bringing diverse flavours and comfort food to Ahmedabad.
It’s common to see either Himanshu or Takshashila behind the counter, greeting regulars with a familiar smile and welcoming newcomers with genuine warmth. The couple has crafted a unique menu that blends regional dishes from across India with global favourites.
The menu is where the magic lies, offering an impressive selection of dishes you won’t easily find anywhere else in the city. It’s especially a haven for breakfast lovers, with an all-day breakfast menu that includes everything from savoury waffles and fluffy pancakes to egg dosas and hearty omelettes.
