Goa becomes the first place to offer travellers, the concept of safe travel with MakeMyTrip’s ‘Special Bubble Holidays’. The online travel company, on Tuesday, announced its collaboration with Indian Hotels Company and Air Asia to ensure the safety of its customers from the start till the end of the holiday season.
While boosted tourist activities in Goa were creating a sense of concern for tourists and citizens alike, a creative initiative by MakeMyTrip is soothing away all these worries! According to a statement, the company has initially introduced the ‘Special Bubble Holidays’ for Goa, which has been open for booking on their mobile application, November 24 onwards. This is exclusively for travel planned around Christmas with check-in on December 23 and check-out on December 27, 2020.
A hands-free, convenient & contactless corridor to maximize traveller safety
To buffer the contraction of virus by travellers, all individuals opting for the new travel method, have to undergo a COVID-19 RT-PCR test. This will be followed by private on-ground transfers in sanitized cabs to the airport from where they will be ferried to the designated check-in counters at the airport. The booking agency will also ensure that all additional safety measures for passengers’ baggage, including sanitization, transfer and check-in at hotel property is looked after. This process will enable the development of a hands-free, convenient and contactless corridor to maximize traveller safety. This will further minimize most interaction from foreign elements, which has been a raging concern amidst tourists.
The initiative has been designed to put the safety at the heart of this entire concept. The streamlined logistics, in a seamless and self-contained method, will further the safety of the travellers in addition to the already established government protocols.
