After three years of the pandemic, the Panaji civic body is hosting a grand Konkan Fruit Festival from May 12 to 15 and you’re invited to roll in this zingy zest. So what are you waiting for? Explore Goa beyond beaches
Launched in 2003, the Konkan Fruit Festival has always been a reason to celebrate clear skies, salty air and citrusy fruits in Goa. And keeping with the trend, the fiesta is back this year to squeeze in a splendour, like never before.
In addition to its vibrant exhibitions, pandals and stalls, the Konkan Fruit Festival 2022 is going to bring an annual mango competition to the state capital. The entire show will be presented by the Botanical Society of Goa, in association with the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP).
The Konkan Fruit Festival is part of Goa’s heritage and culture, backed by the directorate of agriculture and the state government, in association with ICA-CCARI, Old Goa. Other supporting agencies will include WRD and the forest department among others.
Knock Knock
The Konkan Fruit Festival will soon come to an end on May 15, so get up and get going to witness an unseen facet of India’s party hub. There is so much that coastal state offers and this carnival is one such event that will take you closer to the vibrant, unique yet equally enthralling culture here.
