Earlier this year, Ministers from Odisha has drawn the attention of the Union Civil Aviation Minister to set up flight services between the Temple City and the Pink City. Reportedly, the concerned authorities had also written to the Minister on September 17, regarding the commissioning of the said flights. The Odisha administration has further extended the initial incentive to the airlines to commence these direct services, on the referred routes.
The approved schedule is set to streamline the growth of the aviation and tourism sector and aid the overall economy simultaneously. The move has come in as a big respite for the respective stakeholders, especially after the pandemic outbreak.
This announcement has brought great relief to frequent travellers. "Usually all flights between Jaipur & Bhubhaneshwar are connecting services and a lot of time is wasted at the layover terminal. Direct flights are convenient and people who have to travel often will be benefitted.", said Mahesh Gupta from Indore.
