Book enthusiasts of the city, gear up for yet another season of a highly-anticipated Lucknow Book Fair! The 10th edition of the enthralling affair brings with it fresh surprises, the fragrance of bliss scattered in our lives, and, of course, a cornucopia of books.
A sight we, book lovers standing together, admire in its entirety — a slew of as many as 30 book stalls of the official book fair of Lucknow is an adoration one cannot miss. This March 17-26, embark on a shopping spree that you love and relax those nerves.
Find stories that speak to you at LBF
A 10,000 sq ft waterproof canopy sheltering bibliophiles across the city, you can tread this adventure of find the stories that speak to you. From mangas to comics, from historical reads to fictional novels, from magazines to non-fiction, from childrens’ books to workbooks — LBF will have it all! And these will all have minimum discount of 10% levied on them.
Besides regular shopping at the fest, you can also exchange books with new ones here at a nominal cost.
“The main idea behind providing people an opportunity to exchange their old books is to help them get new ones at an affordable price. For the book exchange, the visitors will be required to speak to the organisers,” said convenor of the LBF, Manoj Chandel.
A host of cultural programmes & events at LBF 2023
This year, the theme of LBF is G20 India Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam, One Earth, One Family, One Future. And there would be numerous cultural competitions and programmes revolving around the same. Some social and cultural events will comprise quiz, drawing, slogan wring, story writing, and more.
Moreover, people, a host of famed booksellers and publishers will be gracing the book fair, including National Book Trust, Amar Chitra Katha, Osho Tapovan, UP Hindi Sansthan, Satya Sahitya Mandal, Aksharabhyas, and Rampur Raza Library.
Set to commence from March 17 till March 26, at Ravindralaya Lawn, Charbagh, the book fair invites all for a delightful time.
