Streamlining commute for Ahmedabad city residents, the construction on the Jagatpur railway overbridge has now been completed. The flyover which connects SG Highway to the Gota area was inaugurated today, June 20 in the presence of the Indian Union Minister.

Previously, the residents of the adjacent localities were required to traverse the Vandemataram railway crossing in order to commute between SG Road and Gota. This often led to traffic congestion on the road whenever a train passed the crossing.

Jagatpur overbridge, which stretches over a length of 735.26 meters and a width of 8.40 meters will facilitate a smooth and uninterrupted commute for the residents of Gota, Chandlodia, Godrej Garden City, Savvy Swaraj, Tragad and Jagatpur, enabling them to conveniently access the SG Highway.
