In view of the bettering conditions of the COVID pandemic, all districts in UP have been granted graded relief, effective from today; June 21. The ‘unlock’ decision has been enforced by the authority of a circular, issued by the Chief Secretary of State late on Saturday evening. These relaxations will cut short on the night curfew timings and ease the operations of restaurants, street food shops, parks, with some restrictions.

Unlock order to be withdrawn if district records over 500 total cases
Besides these guidelines, a temporary public address system will be used to spread awareness about the coronavirus infection and ways to control it, The general public will be expected to follow these restrictions completely.
At the district level, DMs will have to convene daily meetings of the medical department at the Integrated COVID Command Centre to thoroughly monitor the on-ground situation. Besides this, the Police Commissioner, DM, senior police officers and Dial 112 officers have been tasked to surveil the implementation of COVID guidelines in containment zones.
The state order warned that if any district records over an aggregate of 500 cases, the region’s unlock status will be revoked and all relaxations will be withdrawn. Consequently, all activities will fall under the curfew restriction again, the orders of which will be issued, in due course.
