Enhancing Ahmedabad’s green spaces, the new Oxygen Park on Sindhu Bhavan Road is now open to the public. Inaugurated by the Home Minister, this park has been developed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in partnership with the Montecarlo Foundation.
Expected to serve as the “green lung” for the city, Oxygen Park features over 1.67 lakh diverse plants and trees, along with a variety of recreational facilities. It includes well-maintained walking and jogging tracks, making it an ideal spot for exercise and relaxation.
Walking tracks, yoga area, pavilions, gazebos & more
Spanning approximately 27,200 square meters, this new park boasts over 167,000 diverse plants and trees, contributing to its ecological significance. It features well-maintained walking and jogging tracks, making it an ideal spot for exercise and relaxation.
Additional amenities include a designated yoga area, a children’s playground, pavilions and gazebos for leisure, and a serene lake that enhances the park’s aesthetic appeal. A nearby bus stand provides convenient access for visitors.

Oxygen Park is open to the public during specific hours. Till the 15th of March, 2025, visitors can access the park from 7 AM to 10 AM and 4 PM to 6 PM.
In the summer months, from the 16th of March to the 15th of September, the timings will shift to 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the morning and 5 PM to 7 PM in the evening. An entry fee of â‚ą10 is charged for each visitor, which helps cover maintenance and operational costs.
