If you’re wondering what ponk is, let’s set the record straight. Ponk is made from jowar millets or sorghum grains, and comes in two forms: green ponk (freshly harvested) and dry ponk (a more mature and flavourful variety). This seasonal delight is packed with protein and fibre, making it great for muscle building and cell regeneration. It’s also loaded with essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, including calcium, copper, zinc, iron, and vitamins B1, B2, B5, and B6.
At Joliya Farm, these varieties star in a range of mouthwatering dishes, such as Ponk Chaat, Ponk Vada, Ponk Ghughra, and even Pudla and Petish. Its Ponk Chaat is a real treat for the taste buds.
