Rajasthan, the most culturally vibrant and diverse state has a lot to offer. They incorporate food as a major part of their heritage and culture which is perhaps why it is one of the most flavour rich, in the entire country. That’s exactly why Rajasthan Haat is organizing a food festival which will bring authentic regional delicacies from the state under one roof, rather, one platter.

What’s the event?
Rasoi 19- Swad Rajasthan Ka is a four day exhibition that will spice up your life with cuisines from across the state. Not only that, they also have an arts and crafts exhibition which will showcase some hand made utensils and materials used in cooking traditional Rajasthani style food.
At its core, the food is the main draw of the event. At Rajasthan Haat, you can have Ghewar from Jaisalmer’s famous Gothua Laddu, or the multi layered, heartwarming Gajak from Bharatpur. If you’re looking for non vegetarian options, try the authentic Laal Maas, which will certainly leave a lasting flavour in your mouth.
This fest is probably your best chance to take a bite out of the state and experience it through the flavourful food. If you’re a visitor to Jaipur or even a localite, you must pay a visit to the event as it will give you a taste of what the historically significant cuisine is like.

When can you visit?
The festival will take place in the first week of march which gives you the opportunity to take in the beautiful sights Jaipur has to offer. It will be organized at Jaipur Haat, opposite Jal Mahal, a scenic place in itself.
In the future, the industries department plans to organize more such events if the event kicks of on a high note. Under the plan to organize more events, they will also expand the haat itself to accomodate over 80 stalls.
