In an attempt to promote the Kanpur- Ahmedabad flight service, which had been halted so far due to the pandemic, the authorities have planned to cap the flight fare at base price. This promotional activity will commence from October 26 and will continue for a period of one month. During this period, expensive Flexi-fare won’t be applicable on the nominal ticket price even when the chances of getting a seat are low.
Flight resumes at basic fare
The airlines resuming the flight services, have capped the fare price at the basic expense of ₹4035 for the airbus travelling from Kanpur to Ahemdabad and ₹4138 for the returning route, from October 26 to November 26. The aviation company is employing this tactic to increase the popularity of the flight, which had suspended its services due to the rampant spread of the coronavirus.
Besides this, Kanpur will also shortly commence flight services to Kolkata, the approval of which has already been sanctioned from Airport Authority of India. These services will begin in response to the active public demand for the same. After this, there are plans to run flights to Bangalore as well.
