Indian origin Vaibhav Taneja named new Tesla CFO
Elon Musk-owned Tesla has announced its new CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and it is Indian-origin Vaibhav Taneja. This comes after Tesla had only recently leased its first office space in Pune, India. As for the appointed Mr. Taneja, he has been serving as Tesla’s Corporate Controller since May 2018.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued an alert on an Indian made syrup named ‘Cold Out’, which is sold in Iraq. WHO has termed the product “unsafe” for consumption and “contaminated”. The syrup is manufactured by Fourrts (India) Laboratories for the company Dabilife Pharma.

Tomato, Chilli prices boosts veg and non-veg thali price in India by 34%, 13% in July
As a result of the increase in tomato and chilli prices, the cost of preparing a veg thali in India went up by a whopping 34% in July. At the same time, the cost of the non-vegetarian thali shot up by 13% as compared to the prices in June 2023.
