A treat for shopaholics!
As you enter the main gate of One Awadh Centre, your eyes will be dazzled by contemporary art designs and Persian prints weaved on carpets. These products are from UP’s ‘Carpet City’, Bhadohi and a tour of this carpet stall will take you to Aladdin’s world for sure! The stall-owner, Mr Waqar Ahmad, told us, “The quality is extremely diverse and with a price range of ₹400 to one lakh, these carpets are suitable for all kinds of buyers.”
Much to the delight of book lovers, located right next to it is a bookstall from Delhi, which is selling books by kilos, priced at ₹200. Further, the opposite end is dotted by two ethnic wear stalls from Chandigarh, a huge collection of accessories and a stall selling super seeds. The Indian wear sections of the stalls have apparels available in fancy prints, inclusive of salwar suits priced at ₹1200 and phulkari dupattas available for ₹700. Further, the accessory stall here is selling lapel pins, earrings, brooches and more, at a starting price of ₹80.
Knock Knock
With vibrant colours strewn around all the stalls, this small exhibition is indeed a treasure trove of a plethora of products. Further, with the lighting and tents, your shopping experience here during the evening will give you the vibes of a village mela. A visit to these stalls is highly recommended, if buying glittery things at economical rates is your thing!
