The word ‘Mamgoto’ literally translates to ‘to play with food’ and be sure of this fact that their kitchen does the same thing. The Mama folks quite frankly stay away from the word authentic, simply because it’s too serious but that does not mean their flavours deter any far from the origin of the food served here.
Mamagoto sources the finest of ingredients, flavours and cuisines from all across the continent and what you get on your plate is the fusion funk of street-style food, urban culinary expertise, all wrapped in a traditional kick!

A whole host of epicurean delights, from maki to dim sums and even grills are on the menu! To put it aptly, this soul food extravaganza is so wide and thorough, you’ll always be spoiled for options when here. Their menu brings in the best of Asian food culture, fresh from pans to plates, cooked in only organic flavours and no MSG.
Our spread here included the creaminess of Chilli Garlic with Cheese dumplings, the kick Rainbow Chicken variation, and the crisp of Old Street Gyoza along with Prawn Sesame Toast, Coriander and Vegetables, Spicy Street Style Chicken, and trust us -we just could not have enough! But do you even blame us!? They have 14 types of soft and juicy dumplings on offer, including vegetable, chicken and seafood variations, each served with 4 special, made in-house relish dips.
What makes them stand apart from any regular cafe is the fact that each mind-blowingly awesome dumpling has a covering made in wheat flour, potato starch and the exotic red lotus flower. So, if you want to grab the best of traditional flavours, modern seasoning and a timeless experience, this is the place you need to be at!

The Mama Kitchen understands your love for dumplings and has prepared two sinful Assorted Dumpling Baskets that let you indulge in a myriad of flavours in one single platter. And as such, the Aunty’s appetiser Platters – with distinct vegetable and chicken grubs is also available here to feed your gluttony.
When it comes to appetisers, there are no two ways about the Crispy Lotus Stem, garnished with brunt chilli and garlic, along with a heavy sprinkle of spring onions. The extremely crunchy texture and flavours in this dish, make it a must-try at Mamagoto!
Treat yourself to a bowl of warm ramen bowl
If your idea of happiness is a power-packed and wholesome meal, then the main course delicacies here are just what you need. We tried 4 of their signature bowls and each came in with a different taste and kick. Our feast included the Laksa Tribute – a Burmese bowl of chicken and tofu and the Mama’s Spicy Ramen Bowl for the soul.

Two special rice meals – Spicy Bangkok Bowl and Crispy Rice with Pok Choi and Chicken added onto our oriental cravings and trust us, it could not get any better! To wash it all down, we had three drinks and yet again- we could not pick a favourite, for each was a refreshing delight with their sweet, citrusy and frothy goodness!

There is no denying the fact that a meal is incomplete if you do not end it on a sweet note! The expansive Mama menu lets you indulge in the most traditional yet disarmingly new flavours of homemade coconut and palm sugar ice cream, which is surely the route to heaven.
This particular section of the menu is lit with the Caramel Sponge Cake with Toffee syrup and vanilla ice cream, Date Pancake with vanilla ice cream and much more. Make sure to not fill yourself too much with the food, for these sugar bites are literally to die for!
