₹2000 currency notes to be withdrawn from circulation
The Reserve Bank of India has arrived at the decision to withdraw all ₹2,000 denomination notes from circulation. Having said that, RBI has also clarified that these notes will still be legal tender and will not be demonetized like the ₹1,000 note six and a half years ago.
