In a move to make lives easier of the Coronavirus patients in the state, the Rajasthan State Health Minister has released an order which states that family members will be permitted to meet their patients by wearing PPE kits. Families will also be allowed to carry home-cooked food. The Health Department principal secretary issued this order, keeping in view the problem of loneliness amongst the patients. The patients who were stressed out because of the disease, can now find comfort during such testing times.
Visiting Hours as per decided by the hospitals

According to the instructions by the officials, the patients who have been infected with COVID-19 and are undergoing treatment at government/private hospitals, will be allowed to meet their family members/relatives. Certain protective measures such as PPE kits, masks, gloves and physical distancing will have to be adopted and practiced by both the parties. The time slots of visiting will be as per the visiting hours decided by the hospital. Along with this, family members can also bring in home-cooked food for the patient, as per the to the issued protocol.
Further, the authorities have ordered the officials to ensure that sufficient quantities of wheel chairs/stretchers and small oxygen cylinders are kept at the Help Desk. This will assure immediate action towards relief during an emergency situation, such as providing low-flow oxygen through the cylinder to the patient sitting/lying on the wheelchair/stretcher.
Jaipur reported 16,741 confirmed corona cases till date
Up till today, Jaipur has 16,741 confirmed corona cases out of which 10,399 victims have recovered. The city has also witnessed 307 deaths. Till date, Rajasthan has reported 1,11,290 cases and 1308 fatalities.
