In an attempt to increase fast-charging facilities for electric vehicles in Jaipur, 3 new centres have been established in the city. As per reports, new charging points have been set up by Tata Motors and Tata Power at First Mobital, Roshan Motors and Shree Shyam Motors in the city. With the installation of the new charging stations in the capital district, the state of Rajasthan now houses 8 stations that offer fast charging services, reportedly.
80% charging for Tata Nexon within an hour of
According to reports, the latest charging points adhere to the CCS fast-charging specifications. Thus, they would cater to all such electric vehicles which comply with the stated charging requirements and this range of automobiles encapsulates the brand electric SUV, the Nexon EV. Additionally, reports state this vehicle takes just an hour of charging to increase its potential from 0 to 80%. With the increase in alternatives, the Tata Nexon EV riders can locate the charging stations without any hassle.
Smartphone applications to indicate charging status
Reportedly, these fast charging facilities come with smartphone applications too. Operating the Tata Power EZ Charge mobile application, a user can avail of an interactive virtual system that will be conducive to hastened processes. Reports state that the users can keep a tab on their charging status and the app will also alert them when the charging gets completed.
With this latest intervention of instituting new charging stations, it has been ensured that the state moves ahead on its path of sustainable development. Further, the state can elevate the idea of environmental conservation by implementing incentive schemes for those using electric vehicles.
