Hey, Mumbaikars! We’re in the thick of the Strawberry season and these juicy delights have currently painted the Mahabaleshwar farms red. But you don’t need to plan a trip to Mahabaleshwar to savour rich strawberries – thanks to The Gourmet Shop in Vile Parle.
They are currently hosting a month-long Strawberry Festival, which entails desserts that are just too good to be missed. And we know you’re already licking your lips, so let’s explore the range of delicious treats available at this celebration of sweetness.
Strawberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Milkshake & more
This Strawberry Fest in Mumbai kicked off around a week ago and has received a tremendous response from sweet-toothed foodies in the city. And that’s no surprise seeing the long list of mouthwatering Strawberry desserts on offer!
These include Strawberry Pistachio Tart, Strawberry Mascarpone Gateaux, Chocolate Strawberry Nutella Pastry, and Strawberry Cheesecake, to name a few. Then there’s the refreshing Fresh Strawberry Milkshake as the perfect ‘icing on the cake’.
The brain behind this scrumptious celebration of berries is Chef Reshma Bhosale, who is a pastry chef at The Orchid Hotel. She’s inviting all Mumbaikars for a guilt-free feast! Why guilt-free? That’s because Strawberries are rich in Vitamin C and low on sugar, despite its heavenly sweetness.
