The cultural extravaganza of IIT Kanpur — Antaragni’22 — concluded today, brimming with enthralling events, thrilling finals, national-level performances, and an undying synergy. A confluence of cultural escapades, the host of exciting affairs left attendees with indelible memories.
A slew of cultural affairs
On one hand, depicting the realistic state of our society, the Nukkad Natak finals resulted in an awe-struck audience, while the Hindi poetry writing competition, Kavyanjali, showcased brilliance in written and performance poetry.
Antaragni Idol showed some stellar back-to-back performances and so did Jitterbug, a western group dance competition. The Color Run, too, was an immersive experience with people dancing to the beats of DJ War.
IIT Kanpur also hosted a celebrated alumni, Karnal Singh, for the India Inspired event, whose words of encouragement instilled in the students a will to serve the nation. The ventriloquist Satyajit Ramdas Padhye and comedian Rajat Chauhan’s performances also left the audience in awe and in splits.
Besides the cultural line-up, intellectual events like India Quiz, HELM Quiz, a Battle of Art, Creative Writing, Pair on Stage, Debate, Kirdaar and Mandala Art competitions urged participants to showcase their talent and skills.
It was followed by a beautiful prom night, while the evening got star-studded as the legendary music maestros Salim and Sulaiman mesmerised all at Blitzkrieg.

From the Acapella competition witnessing soulful voices and creating serene melodies, the Mimica competition captivating audiences with articulate gestures and expressions, to the Qawwali Eve that saw Tariq Faiz spreading his magic — IITK’s Antaragni was a massive hit.
Antaragni’22 concluded after four days of extreme passion, glory, and fire.
